As you get ready for another great season here at the BSASL here are a couple of quick notes:

1). Field 4 has been reserved for the adult league on Wednesday nights from 6:15 - 8:00.  The fields will be in use by the Rec & Comp leagues Monday thru Thursday until 6:15 so please allow them to finish practice before you take the field. 

2). All fields are for BSYSL & BSASL members only. You pay for everything from nets, goals, benches, gound maintenance and upkeep, buildings, pavement, etc. with your enrolement (registration) fees. Participation in games and practices by non members is prohibited and should be discuraged by all paying BSASL members. Any injury claim that occurs can be disputed or denied if it involved a non member playing at the complex at the time of acident.

3). There are two positions available on our BSASL Board if you are interested in being a part of a great team helping our program grow.

      Field Commissioner - Set fields up before game days (flags, benches, goals and anchors) and help coordinate general upkeep of complex as it relates to the Adult program.

      At Large Position - This role is an important role if you are just getting aquanted with the Adult program. This is a voting position that allows you to see what other board positions responsabilities are and will allow you to move into a vacant board position or let you know what position you would like to run for in the future.

4). 6v6 Friday and Sunday spots are still available and registration will be open for another week. If you or someone you know would like to partisipate, please contact Deanna at dmarcy@cox.net

Also, Our Fall Season Social is thei Friday Night at Mojo’s Grill on Pine Ave at 7:00. Come out and shake some hands, pat some butts and tell each other what a great season were gonna have before it turns into an all out war on the pitch.

As a reminder, brush up on the rules of the game (located on OcalaSoccer.com) to make sure your playing by the rules. You know your not gonna like it when the Ref issues a card for something that you should not have done and you’ll say "If I only would have brushed up on the rules I would have known better, Silly me!"

The BSASL has made another very exciting change!

I know, we all hate change but this is great stuff.
The Board has expanded on the 6v6 program and decided to include it for this Fall season. So we now have "A", "B" and "6v6" Divisions. Bad news is you can not play in more then one league at a time cause they are all on Friday evenings.
Don't Worry, we are not stopping summer 6v6 and we all would like to see 6v6 become a year round event so you might be able to play 6v6 during any off season from the large format games of Fall & Spring.

Yes! There are still a few spots available for the adult 6v6 Summer Soccer program in both A & B Div. To register, come to the 36th ave complex on Tuesday evening between 6:00 and 7:30.

You can be a pro or just starting to play and still have fun playing a sport that charges you up.
Registration is on June 8th and 15th from 6-7 pm at the BSYSL 36th ave complex.
Games start June 17th and run 6 weeks long.

Here are some of the basic info for the league:
A minimum of 6 players and max of 10 must be on a team if a team is submitting a team roster.
Players can sign up as an individual as well and we will form teams randomly with all individuals submitted.
Games on Friday evenings.
Two divisions - "A" for competitive teams or individuals that prefer to compete at a higher level of intensity and
                      "B" division for more of a rec feel and possibly all women’s team, this division is more for competitive fun
$200 for teams signing up - Names and money needs to be turned in at the time of registration - No modifications allowed.......Period!
$25 per individual signing up
Registration is on a first come basis
Max of 8 teams per division
The fields will be line on fields 1, 2 & 3 at 40 yds x 60 yds
Full size goals will be used - 8’x24’. This will make games exciting with higher scores.
   Goalies could make the difference.
No off sides.
Goalie can only throw the ball, no kicking unless the ball is on the ground as a live ball or goal kick.
Full size goal boxes, PK’s from the standard hash mark.
Each team play two 30 min games per night
Players have to sign a waver of liability
Uniforms are not required, we can supply pennies for teams that need them.
No end of season tournament.

Games will be played as follows: Two 30 min games for each team each night
   4 "B" league games (all 8 teams) play at one time - 6:30 pm then
   4 "A" league games (all 8 teams) play at one time - 7:15 pm then
   4 "B" league games (all 8 teams) play at one time - 8:00 pm then
   4 "A" league games (all 8 teams) play at one time - 8:45 pm then we leave by 9:45 pm

• Online registration is for RETURNING players from Fall 2010 ONLY
• If you are a returning player that is changing teams, please email adultsecretary@bsysl.com to change your team BEFORE YOU REGISTER

• On the right side of the website under Resources, clink the link for Teams
• Click on the link for your team name (ex Team 6 Orange)
• Next to the heading Team Roster, click on Make a Payment
• Click on your name
• At the Team Log-In page, click on the link “click here” to have your PIN# sent to you for online registration.
• At the “LOG-IN Info Retrieval” page, you enter the email you put on your last registration form. If your email has changed, you must email adultsecretary@bsysl.com with your name, team # and new email address so that the new email can be added so that you can receive a pin. 
• Open a new tab, go to your email address, you will receive an email from support@demosphere.com with your PIN. Please check your junk or spam folder for this email if you didn’t get your PIN instantly.
• Return to the registration page and click on the link “Return to Log In”
• Enter your email address and PIN #
• Clink on the link “MODIFY Player Info”
• Review your address, phone and email and make any corrections if necessary. DO NOT edit your name. If you need to update your name, email adultsecretary@bsysl.com and request the change (documentation may be required). “Save” changes
• DO NOT change your picture. It has to be a specific format and won’t print on the pass.
• Clink on the link “Make a Payment”
• Complete card holder name address and payment method information
• READ Waiver 1 and Waiver 2
• Click the box “I have read and agree with the above statement”
• Click Continue
• Print your receipt and you will also receive a receipt by email
• At this point there is a link for adultsecretary@bsysl.com, if you have anything you need to communicate to us about your registration, email to us from this link. Include your name and contact info.
